What is native advertising and when is it worthwhile?

  • Could the message be supported and/or content promoted in other channels, such as social media, newsletter or display advertising.
  • Ensure the measurability of ads and ad versions and campaigns and the measurability of site objectives
  • Plan to redirect visitors from the landing page to a conversion event, but alternatively provide a route to other promotional content or events, as not everyone will convert immediately.
  • Anticipate the impact of native advertising on target audiences' search engine behaviour and ensure the right search engine results
  • Consider whether re-marketing could be used after native marketing
