Profile - Antti Kärki

I am one of the founders and shareholders of Digiteam. I am the CEO of Digiteam, but that doesn't really describe what I do. Most of my time is spent on customer marketing and developing Digiteam's marketing and sales. I have been working in digital marketing since 2003, but my work in web analytics, which started in 2006, taught me to look at a company's digital marketing as a goal-oriented whole and specifically from the client company's point of view, and therefore from the point of view of their customers.

What do I enjoy most about my job?

Surprisingly, I enjoy the successes. The best part is when we help your business take off or sales increase. Good feedback on the quality of collaboration, on successful projects is a pleasure and comes quite often. But there is also joy in sales successes, in the successes and insights of our employees, in our own insights into the development of the customer's marketing and, of course, in the success of Digiteam.

What do I do in my spare time?

There are many activities and their focus varies. There are periods when goal-oriented sports, exercise and training take up a lot of time, and other times when the house and yard are being renovated. In badminton, I've even taken up badminton competitively. Family, summer cottage, friends, food, music and sometimes cultural excursions fill my free time. Nature and all kinds of activities with a different spirit are also close to my heart.

What's the best thing about Digiteam?

Knowledgeable, smart people and good customer relations. As a small organisation, we can be agile and flexible. Freedom gives people autonomy to take responsibility for their work and their customers. I'm really proud of the people who work for us. We dare to disagree with each other and I, for one, am learning from others to gain new perspectives and to look critically at my own work.

My area of expertise

Smashing badminton is probably my biggest strength, if you don't count bad humour, but when it comes to digital marketing, I mainly work on SEO and SEM and I actively use analytics in these. I consider finding and reacting to what I call the 'essentials' in the results to be my area of expertise. I also consider customer communication and clarity to be my strengths.
