Responsibility in Digiteam
Practical action, not just promises
For us, responsibility means above all transparency, honesty and a thriving work community. At the same time, we care for our environment by making conscious choices that reduce our emissions and make our operations more sustainable.
Responsibility for the environment
Digiteam was born entirely from a remote working model and this principle has been a strong factor in our growth. Although we have recently acquired an office, its use is optional. We strive to minimise commuting, our carbon footprint is inherently much lower than that of traditional companies. According to a carbon footprint calculation carried out in 2024, our operations only generated 18.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, almost all of which were related to IT procurement and business travel.
Social responsibility
Responsibility is not just about environmental responsibility, but also about how we treat each other, our customers and our partners. It is important to us that our employees are well and that their voice is heard in decision-making. Working time is not measured by the clock, but by results and customer satisfaction. We give everyone the opportunity to contribute and develop their skills, because we want to retain the best people and give them the chance to grow. The office we are acquiring will also help to improve employee well-being and internal communication.
Transparency and honesty towards customers
Responsibility is also reflected in the way we work with our customers. Digital marketing is an industry that promises a lot and sometimes too much. But we are not in the business of selling empty promises or solutions that customers don't really need. We focus on what brings real benefits to the customer.
Honesty also means not only optimising our own processes, but helping our customers to make more responsible choices, where possible.
Responsible choices in everyday life
Just because our carbon footprint is already small by design, that doesn't mean we don't have opportunities to make better choices. This is why we have paid particular attention to areas such as IT procurement and travel.
As IT workers, we depend on digital tools, but we strive to make our purchases in a sustainable way. We buy equipment only when we really need it and favour long-lasting, responsibly produced options. It is also important to us that our partners share our values and act ethically.
Travel is another area where we have made conscious choices, favouring remote meetings wherever possible. This is not always the case, because meetings with clients are extremely valuable.
Where do we go next?
Although we are already responsible, we want to keep improving. We will continue to monitor our carbon footprint. We will therefore carry out an ESG study on a regular basis and try to find ways to act more responsibly.
We recognise that sustainability requires continuous monitoring and action. For us, sustainability is not an isolated strategy or marketing gimmick, and we therefore do not promise to be a spearhead for sustainability. However, we do promise to be as fair, open and willing to learn as possible.
